I bought this table at Goodwill for $20.00. It is a sturdy table, and the legs were already white and distressed. The only thing I did was paint the top with chalkboard paint (3 coats). I love it! It is fun for the kids, and they can even work out their math homework on it. Have you ever used chalkboard paint on a project?
